all grain brewing

Can I split the mashing process between 2 mashing processes if I have a smaller 20qt pot and then just blend the 2 mashes till I can afford a big pot?

Thanks!

When I was in scotland they had this stuff (real/cask ale) which they hand pumped directly from the basement at the basement temperature. Any idea?

So basically with the can your getting the same exact barley recipe every time with most the non all grain kits? What takes the additional 6hours as well? extracting the grain flavors or? I'd be very interested in all grain recipes since it seems the way the breweries do it, as i've looked at some o...

All grain brewng

Whats the difference b/t the normal kits and the all grain kits (besides price)? Are the all grain kits supposed to taste better or be the real way beer is actually made? Why would you want grains whole or crushed? And what equipment/technique difference you would need than from the other kits?

Real/Cask Ale

How would i go about making cask ale or real ale from your guy's kits w/o bottleing and tapping directly from the fermenter?

Liqueur Making

Didn't see a forum category...

Is it pretty easy to make CLASSIC LIQUORS-HAZELNUT ? I was looking for something similar to Frangelico, because it is amazingly tasty. Is this kit similar and easy to produce?

I think most of the sediment was from the hops I failed to get out when I was done boiling the wort and poured it directly into the primary fermenter, maybe I should siphon out of the wort pot instead of pouring?

Filtering

Just finished my first homebrew ever (the bohemian lager), which tastes alright n lil fruity taste. I noticed really didn't clear up much as each bottle has a thin layer of yeast/hop residue on the bottom, which in turn gets into the glass when I pour it out. Is there anyway to filter the beer from ...

finished product

I finally bottled me bohemian lager, my first homebrew, and decided to put one int he fridge just to try it later. Tried it later it tastes watery with beer flavor, is that normal or does the bottle conditioning/carbination make it less watery over 2 weeks to 2 months?

Got some of the Iodophor but says not to use in plastics, like the plastic fermenter, as it will change its color or something. What do you suggest using to store this mixture in while i dip bottles in?

so the iodophor makes 40 gallons of solution I see, so just mix the fraction of the 4oz container, 1/2oz to 5 gallons in a fermenter probably and just dip those bottles in and let them fill up and sit in the solution for 2mins? and rinse (b/c iam a sterizile nut). Pretty cheap for that iodophor stuf...

Spicy Ales

Do you fellows have a kit for spicy ales with lots of flavor? One like Stone Brewery's Arrogant Bastard Ale, I love that stuff.
