when can I taste?

During a 'kit' wine making process...when can the wine be tasted...so as to get a reasonable idea of how it's going to taste as the finished product, or is it only after bottling?

I like to taste my wines at each stage. You will find that in general it tastes better at each progressive stage. Tasting it just before bottling will give you the most similar flavor to when it is bottled and aged. However, bottle aging will vastly improve the wine. Don't be too disappointed when you taste it at bottling time. The wine will change during bottle aging quite dramatically.
