Shipping Wine as Gifts

Is there a legal way for an individual to ship a bottle or two of their wine to friends in another state? I would like to send wine gifts to friends and family that live in various states, I know that the USPS will not ship wine, but how about UPS and FedEx?

UPS and Fed Ex will but you have to have a license. The other way is to ship it with UPS and just say it is a 'lab sample for testing purposes'. Don't say it is alcohol and pack it really well.
