rcarson,

I don't really have the space right now and my Father grows Nugget for me.

Let me ask him if he would like to grow some Brewers Gold and I'll get back to you.

Good luck on you harvest.

Wow, that is a lot of hops. Only drying and freezing is my only guess or find a fellow brewer to give some to.

rcarson,

Nice haul. Should get around 2 lbs of dried hops.

I guess it's time to move up to 20 gallon batches.

I would if I had the facilities, the hops are in my attic right now drying out. I will be picking the Nugget in about a month. Need to vacuum seal them and get them in the freezer.

First they are HIGHLY toxic to dogs and cats, I have both and they dont bother them. As for bugs and such I guess it depends on where you are located, in the Cleveland, Ohio I havent had any problems yet.

I have not either. I have read that some varieties can be prone to 'downy mildew' but I have not seen it.
