cheating on beer

Postby thomas harris » Tue Sep 06, 2011 9:47 pm

What I mean here is could one make a cheap whiskey, dilute it, flavor it and carbonate it and then call it "beer". The reason I ask is my son had to buy the "most interesting man in the worlds" beer. Well it wasn't too interesting! This lager was clean to the point of no flavor. Very un-interesting indeed. Absolutely no head on it at all. Maybe this is tasty south of the border, but this old north country fella wants something with more body than this stuff.

I guess it could be done. Selling beer has as much to do with marketing/brainwashing as producing a good product (imho).
