calcium chloride

Wondering if calcium chloride is the same as pickling lime? Is there any difference?

I think it is the same but you have to get the strength correct. I am not sure how to make the proper solution using pickling lime.

I believe that pickling lime is Calcium Hydroxide, not Calcium Chloride.
