I picked up my mother for cider vinegar last night and have a few questions.
1) if I don't get to it for a few days should the mother be stored in the fridge?
2) your instructions call for 50% head space in the container, why is this?
3) If the hard cider has a slight haze will the vinegar have one also?
Unrelated issue: I found a sealess magnetic pump rated at 200 deg. Ball valve, 1/2" tubing abd step-down connections for the tubing included with the pump on the internet.
