hieneken kegs refillable

Postby samadams » Tue Feb 03, 2009 10:33 pm

Can the 5L hieneken kegs be refilled? I talked with one person, he said no, and to use the Oberon kegs with a co2 tap. Any thoughts?

As long as you have a way to dispense the beer from the keg, I don't see why you cannot use them. Over the years we have sold many different brands of these 5 liter kegs and they all worked. You just have to have a way to tap it or have a spigot on the side for dispensing. I believe the correct dosing for natural carbonation is one to two tablespoons corn sugar per mini keg.

Thanks for the info on the mini keg. Running out of bottles and looking things to put my beer in.
