Nutrients

If I wanted to slow feed sugar to a Vinters Reserve Wine expert Merlot kit. What Nutrients would I need to add to keep my yeast going, and when would I add this? What alcohol level will this yeast handle? I plan to take it to 14%

There are not many yeast's that can't tolerate 14%. You should not have much trouble. I am not sure which yeast comes with the kit. I think it might be the Premier Cuvee. If it is, that yeast tolerates something like 16-18%.

If you want to add a nutrient, I would use the Wyeast yeast nutrient.
