Briess Dry Malt Extract (DME) is a great way to add additional body and flavor to a home brewed beer to avoid dry, thin, or cidery flavors.

Using Dried Malt Extract as a primary sugar can help increase head retention and body. They can also be used to adjust the color of your beer. Additionally, it is very common for brewers to use some DME as an additive in yeast starters.

Briess Dry Malt Extracts are made in Wisconsin at a state of the art 500 barrel brewing facility. Briess has been creating malt extracts since 1876 and is one of the preeminent names in the brewing world.
