Removes excess tannin in new barrels and cleans old barrels and prepares them for new wine. Use 1 lb barrolkleen for every 5 gallons of water that it takes to fill the barrel. After soaking barrel in barolkleen, rinse barrel with one gallon of water to which you have added 8 oz sodium metabisulphite and 1 tsp of citric acid. This will neutralize any remaining alkali in the barrel.
* Also very good at dissolving wine diamonds in the bottom of fermentation tanks.
