A popular hop used by craft breweries like Stone, Ballast Point, New Belgium, Firestone Walker and Green Flash for the past few years, this once limited hop has now been released for homebrewers.

El Dorado is a dual use hop variety with exceptional aroma qualities and high alpha acids. El Dorado consistently elicits fruity notes, specifically tropical fruit flavors. Other fruit notes offered have been pear, watermelon and stone fruit. While perfect for IPA’s and Pale Ales, this hop is very versatile and can be used for many styles.

US-grown in the Moxee Valley of Washington, a sub-growing district of the Yakima Valley. Due to its cooler temperatures, outstanding aroma crops are grown there. This hop was first developed by CLS Farms, LLC in 2008 and released in 2010 to craft brewers. CLS Farms is a multi-generational family hop farm.
