WowThe move from a copper coil wort chiller to this model is like going from candles to electric light. It speeds up the brew day considerably. Which is especially appreciated at the end of the day when you're ready to get things cleaned up.
It seems the wort flows very freely through it with just gravity, but I'm using it inline with the motor and stone from the Quick-Carb set-up I already owned to also pump and oxygenate the wort. So, once the boil is done, it's only about five minutes later that I'm pitching yeast. It's a huge improvement.
