Details

Dingemans Belgian Chocolate malt. Color is 300-380 degrees Lovibond. Belgian chocolate malt can impart a warm toasted, nutty flavor that is smoother than the British chocolate malt. It will impart flavor and color depending upon the amount used.

In five gallons, try using 2 oz per 5 gallons to impart a "red" color in ales and lagers. Add 4 oz or more to brown ales, porters and stouts. Also use in dark lagers.

Victory Malt- Briess
Color is 25 degrees Lovibond. Victory malt is processed in such a way that it imparts a warm, biscuity, nutty flavor similar to baking bread to beer. It also adds a deep gold to brown color. For Nutbrown ales, try adding 10-15% of grist (one pound in extract batches). For dark amber and dark beers, try 2-5% of total grist. For porters, try 5-10% of grist.
